Our promises
What you can hold us to
Planet-X is a place people put their names, their faces and their friends. These are the promises that keep it one you can trust.

Your email is never shown
Not on your citizen card, in a squad, on a share card or in a link. It signs you in, and carries security notices and the emails you ask for.
Private squads stay private
Squad posts never appear in public feeds, searches, share previews or rankings. Your download of your data and your One orbit never include what other people wrote in a squad.
We tell you what is checked
Memorial photos are checked before they show. Squad photos stay off until matching against known abuse imagery is ready. Squad text is checked automatically only for the most severe harms, such as threats and child sexual content. People at Planet-X look at private content only when it is reported or flagged as severe.
Not end-to-end encrypted
We say this plainly rather than imply otherwise. Anyone in a squad can take a screenshot, and we can’t stop that.
No selling your data, no targeted ads
We never sell data, and no ad is aimed using your posts. The banners that fly over the planet are the same for everyone. Paying for Plus buys room and keepsakes, never safety, rank, reach or anyone’s privacy.
Your data is yours to take, and your account yours to close
From Settings, Your data you can ask for a file of everything you have put on Planet-X, and delete your account. Your account is deleted 14 days after you ask; until then, choose Keep my account to cancel.
Clear rules, reasons and appeals
If we remove something of yours or restrict your account, you are told why and how to ask for a review. The rules say what is not allowed, and the grievance page reaches a person.
