Plato
Πλάτων
Greek philosopher · c. 428 BCE–348 BCE
Plato wrote philosophy as dialogues, most of them led by his teacher Socrates. The Apology gives Socrates' defence at the trial that ended in his death.
The unexamined life is not worth living for a human being.

Apology (Socrates speaking), 38a
